Clients can begin receiving services through the FJC by walking in, calling, or setting an appointment. The first step is completing an intake sheet that asks general questions about your contact information and demographics. After this form is completed, you will be connected to a Navigator.

The Navigator is the first point of contact who will perform an intake by asking you about what brought you to the Family Justice Center and hearing a little bit about your story. They will then connect you to any and all on-site partners that pertain to your needs. Please note that some of our providers are on-site part-time and may require an appointment. Also, some providers have eligibility standards that must be met in order to receive their services. The following is a list of our current on-site partners with a small piece of information about what service they provide:

 

  • YWCA of Sonoma County: Domestic Violence Services
  • Council on Aging: Elder and Dependent Adult Services
  • Verity: Sexual Assault and Human Trafficking Services
  • Legal Aid: Restraining orders for specific issues
  • SonomaWorks: Temporary financial and service help for families with children
  • DA’s Office: DA Advocates and staff
  • Homeless Outreach Team: Homeless Victim Services
  • InterTribal Council: Victim Services for Native American Clients
  • Ruthless Kindness: Veterinary/Animal Services
  • Catholic Charities: Immigration/U- and T-Visa Assistance
  • Law Enforcement
  • JobLink: Employment and Training Resources
  • On-site Holistic Practitioner: Reiki and massage by referral and appointment only
  • Survivor Support: Empowerment Groups, Financial Literacy, Camp HOPE, Workshops, Etc.
